Buy Sell Trade Count Ratio

Definition

Measures the relative proportion of executed buy trade count (both market and limit) versus sell trade count (both market and limit) within a given period. A higher ratio indicates stronger buy-side activity, while a lower ratio points to increased sell-side pressure. By tracking changes in this ratio over time, traders can gain insights into emerging or fading market momentum on either side of the order flow.
